Rancho San Gorgonio is an 831-acre master planned residential community located in the southern part of the City of Banning.
The Specific plan features distinctive Village neighborhoods which will flow seamlessly into each other with an easy access pedestrian paseo trail system. The paseo trail system is an organic based design that focuses on community connections and the pedestrian experience.
A centrally located village paseo will be designed to offer the residents a place for strolling, playing, and resting within the natural open space area. The landscape incorporates the elements of the rustic and natural desert beauty of the site's surrounding rural foothill. Attractive, safe and walkable streets will be provided throughout the community.
The RSG Specific Plan has been organized into seven villages. Each of the Specific Plan villages have been named after a historically prominent Banning family or individual to connect the RSG project with Banning’s history and growth.
The villages names are: Jost Village, Moore Village, Gilman Village, Coombs Village, Barker Village, Robertson Village and Fraser Village.
Despite the recent economy, Banning continues to move forward with new development projects and further community revitalization. This is to be a thrilling step towards Banning’s future.
